If I had to choose a few important topics, which I think about, that are missing in society, it would be the theory of needs and myths about the education of talented people. This post is about the first mentioned.

This theory describes the basic needs of the person and divides them into five basic groups: it starts from basic physiological requirements, follows up to love, esteem, and, finally, self-actualization. One establishes the other. It is a prerequisite for fulfilling the next. "Truly healthy people were self-actualizers because they satisfied the highest psychological needs." (As described at Britannica.com, for example at the following link.)
I wonder how today's society stands. How many people can imagine, what would life be like without the possibility of rest and sleep?
It is clear that is a well-known theory. Some people for this knowledge feel every pin, others don't know they exist, come to terms with a crust of bread and run to the doctor when it is too late.
I do not want to abuse or misinterpret this theory, however, I think that although it is very easy to understand, it is not known as it deserves. This theory has a wide range of applications. This knowledge should be basic.
This theory is useful in many areas. In education, human resources and labour issues, health care, criminology, as well as in social policy and economics.
Denial of basic human needs is also basic bullying. Probably many would wonder how many people can't go on vacation, how many people work seven days a week and how many people work beyond their possibility for a nonsensical reason.
Surely it would also be a surprise how many people work in a harmful environment full of poisons without being aware of the risks. How many people will say they will stay overtime, even on a holiday. And how excited the boss will be from such a hardworking worker. Who, after such a burden, loses the opportunity to move his hand or stays with a sore back. In particular, some groups of the population do not seem to have any rights, which is obscured by their laziness.
I wonder how many people would be surprised that the staff is checked to stay in the toilet. We all know that being unable to bounce to the toilet was very common in education when we were children. It is clear, that our teachers did not do everything well.
Basic human needs and their impact on performance are such elementary knowledge that I don't really understand who wants to ignore these rules today.
It is clear that an employee cannot perform well in an environment where he cannot breathe, go to the toilet because does not manage to meet his work schedule, where is zero security, and is forced to eat the whole lunch in the dirt in a few minutes, with his hands crooked into strange shapes, bullied by a someone who he has no idea he has any needs.
The result looks like a full-day racing marathon. In addition to such work, any other activity is a year-round vacation.
People have their biorhythms and they are governed by a system of complex compounds and chemical processes that are much more subtle, delicate, and sophisticated than any human creation. We are protected from damage by various protection and defence mechanisms, which we should not ignore.
Let's answer for ourselves: How many of us, for example, can chew each bite at least twenty-five times, as doctors advise, to avoid digestive problems. And how many of us suffer from indigestion for some reason.
The question is: Why do we have to suffer from these conditions? For what? Because not everyone can effectively manage and lead people and their companies. That it doesn't work out is a lie.
The boundaries that create the line between life and death are endless. One knows a wide range of sufferings that one must overcome, even though they are not fatal. Does that mean it's right?
Let's ask ourselves, where the border is dignified to living creatures and where we don't want to go.
It seems that the inner conviction still survives among humans, which divides living beings into valuable and those of no value.
These needs are the same for everyone, people as well as animals. We should not forget that.
